these are the drawings i said i will upload ages ago (perhaps a month?), but i kept postpone because i was doing my another project, which just finished today. I will upload this lot first and then the recent project will be posted soon before i go to London on the 4-7th March..
woo hooo!! going to get my Canon G12 there (fingers crossed!)
these sketches are from my 'live fashion drawing' class with Bob
..using graphite pencil on A2 cartridge paper pad..
*every drawings are drawn in a short limit time and also one is drawn by my left hand!
(of course iam a right handed) :
outline drawings of 3 poses just to get out heads around early in the morning
no details, just the figures..using side of graphite
for this pose, we were told to shade in the body areas because he wanted us to only concentrate on the garments, which this should happen to designers. We sometimes put too much time on face and details while we should be creating gorgeous garment.
the model changed to wear a coat, we had to indicate seams and little details in this one, which wasn't difficult.
i actually enjoyed drawing this outfit with the draping of its :)
the same coat but, in the front perspective
(the girls's head was in the way and i was moving all the time to be able to draw the model's foot but, didnt want to move for this one tho ;p)
this is with another outfit with the stocking details.
three poses arranged in one page.
this is the left hand drawing of two poses.
the garment was fine looking rough but, aren't as ugly as the faces lol
back to right hand drawing-back perspective,
crisscross back straps with the draping of the dress.
45 degree angled perspective
-contour line drawing-involves one continues line for one figure-this gets me to think ahead about where my line is going but, you can see some part is lighter than the other because i was hesitated to draw all in one line-
i really enjoyed contour line drawing as i like how a line formed at the end and it makes the whole figure looks way more interesting :D
i came back and did contour line with my friends (thx to P'Van and P'Wan). i did it pretty fast, again using graphite on A2 cartridge paper pad.
I am finishing of this post with my four close-up contour line.
i did it too small, Bob actually waned only the face area. But still, i luv contour line drawings :)) hope you like my contour xx
